Curse the Journal of Colloid Interface Science

I got the article I ordered yesterday afternoon--the paper that has been promised to provide the solution to the condensation equation by the vaunted method of characteristics.

"...in the absence of coagulation, one obtains the condensation equation
dn(D,t)/dt = -d/dD[I(D,t)n(D,t)] + S(D,t) - a(D,t)n(D,t)
which may be solved by the method of characteristics (3,12)."

With trepidation, I check references 3 and 12, and find that, yes, they are two more articles from the Journal of Colloid Interface Science.

I guess I'll be submitting another request through Interlibrary Loan.
